AAA Michigan Launches Safe Travel News Page

In response to consumer need for more information on travel security issues, AAA Michigan today (March 21) launched a Web page designed to answer a wide variety of travel-related safety and security questions.

The AAA Safe Travel News page at www.aaa.com can be reached via a link in the upper right-hand corner of the main welcome page after you enter your Michigan zip code. It is divided into five sections providing Fuel Information, information on Air/International Travel, Auto Travel resources, Security resources and Helpful AAA Links.

Direct access is provided to the Office of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration and U.S. State Department, among others. Visitors to the site can learn about prohibited air travel items, airport security procedures and how to save money on fuel, among many other helpful travel tips.
