Anne Arvia named Executive Vice President, Banking and Financial Services,  The Auto Club Group, President and CEO of Auto Club Trust
 
DEARBORN, MI  (August 28, 2018) Anne Arvia has been named Executive Vice President, Banking and Financial Services, at The Auto Club Group (ACG) and President, CEO of The Auto Club Trust.  In her new role at the Dearborn-based organization, effective September 10, Arvia will be responsible for the strategic direction and overall results for ACG’s financial services and banking operations.
 
ACG is the second largest AAA club in North America, providing membership, travel, insurance and financial service offerings to more than 10 million members. Auto Club Trust is a Dearborn, MI-based federally-insured bank started in 1999.
 
Arvia has a wealth of strategic and operational leadership experience in banking and other industries.  Most recently, she was interim president at USAA Bank, where she led the $82 billion bank to outperform plans and drove the evolution from a direct bank to a digital bank focused on member/customer experiences.  Prior to her time at USAA Bank, she held senior leadership roles at Nationwide Insurance.  As president of Nationwide Direct Distribution, she increased growth and innovation in the direct (online and phone sales) channel.  Prior positions at Nationwide include president of Nationwide Retirement Plans and president and CEO of Nationwide Bank, where she built a start-up online bank and drove growth to more than $3 billion in the third year of operation.
 
Arvia has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University and holds a CPA certification. She serves on the Board of Directors for GATX Corporation as chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Governance Committee.
 
She has been selected three times as one of US Banker’s “25 Most Powerful Women in Banking,” in addition to being included in Crain’s Chicago Business magazine’s “100 Most Influential Women” and “Forty Under 40.”
