AAA Issues Statewide “Coping with Construction” Alert

First in a Series of Statewide Traffic Safety Alerts
 
DEARBORN, MI. (April 30, 2018) --  As the construction season moves  full speed ahead across Michigan roads and highways, AAA is kicking off a series of statewide “Coping With Construction” alerts for motorists.  This is the first in a series of informational alerts that will be issued throughout the coming weeks and months as part of AAA’s traffic safety advocacy efforts to educate and inform motorists. With major projects scheduled to begin soon, these tips will be provided to help commuters cope as everyone looks forward to driving on smooth, steady and safe roads soon.
 
AAA Tips for Coping with Construction
  • < >  Travel during non-peak hours to avoid rush hour traffic< >  Map out multiple alternative routes and give them a trial runTraffic Reports:  Stay updated through apps, websites, radio and TV
  • Consider Alternatives
