State gas prices up 7.3 cents, AAA reports

State motorists will pay 7.3 cents more for gas this week, reports AAA Michigan.  The current statewide average is $4.038 per gallon, 36.8 cents more than last year.  The average price for self-serve regular rose 5.1 cents in Metro Detroit over the past week, with the average at $4.027 pergallon. The price is 37.7 cents higher than last year at this time.
